Tammy has been a multimedia developer since 1996. Originally from Cleveland, OH, she has been a resident of Columbus since 2001 and currently works at The Center for Knowledge Management at The Ohio State University where she creates interactive learning objects and Web sites for faculty and students.
In May 2007, Tammy listened to the Ride for World Health team share their mission and their experiences on the OSUMC campus and later that day ran into a couple of the riders at the hospital coffee joint immediately hitting them up with questions about the Ride. That same day, she sent in her resume and application for the 2008 Ride.
"When I saw the Ride come through campus, I knew I had to be a part of it. It combines all of my passions - the technology, education, advocacy, and cycling. I am thrilled to be a part of this and look forward to riding with a great team across the country while giving back to the community at the same time."
