Thank you for your interest in Ride for World Health! I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. After finishing my undergraduate degree at Clarion University in Pennsylvania I traveled home to Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to entering medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, I pursued a career as a Sales Representative. Realizing my desire to be in the Healthcare field, I gained valuable experience as a Cancer Research Technician at Case Western Reserve University. This past Fall I started medical school I will graduate as a Doctor of the foot and ankle in 2013.

An active lifestyle has always been a large part of my life. As a child, my parents enrolled me in every sport imaginable. I found my passion in the sport of swimming. In my undergrad I swam all four years for Clarion University’s varsity swim team. Recently, after participating in a summer triathlon, I discovered the joy of cycling. I feel fortunate that an active lifestyle has always been apart of my life and feel passionate about promoting healthy behaviors around the country. Ride for World Health affords me the opportunity to participate in the initiative to address global health disparities by focusing on education, advocacy and fundraising.

I am proud to support Ride for World Health in its mission to provide global health education and advocacy to Americans across the country. I look forward to helping Ride for World Health its vision to inform and create active global citizens.
