R4WH National Team Rider
Columbus, OH
4th-year, The Ohio State University College of Medicine
My name is Cory Hoffbuhr and I am currently in my fourth year of medical
school at The Ohio State University. I grew up in the great city
of Medford, Oregon where I spent most of my time playing soccer and
skiing.
I majored in Biology at Oregon State University (the Beavers, NOT the Ducks)
and had the time of my life. After graduation in 2003, I moved to Morelia,
Mexico where I volunteered in the healthcare field. This was my first
exposure to medicine and certainly where my interest in public health and
international healthcare began.
I landed in Columbus, Ohio for medical school. These last four years have
flown by and I am blessed to have married the love of my life in June! With
graduation just around the corner, I am looking forward to our journey
across the nation working to raise awareness about the major health issues
our world is facing today.
After the ride, I look forward to starting my medical career as a General
Medical Officer for the United States Navy and who knows where life will
take me after that!
